| MONTREAL, May 10 /CNW/ - Cervin Capital Corporation (ASE: CCK.A), a Junior Capital Pool company trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange, today announced that Les Recherches R.A.N.K.I.N. Research Corporation, which will shortly become Cervin's wholly-owned subsidiary in a transaction conditionally approved by the Alberta Stock Exchange, has entered into an agreement with Assurance Asserpro (a major Quebec insurance broker) for the purchase of a significant quantity of Boomerangs. This agreement is expected to generate revenues of approximately $400,000 over the next eighteen months. The Boomerang, patented by Rankin, is the central device in a cellular-based tracking system for the recovery of stolen automobiles, heavy equipment and valuable objects. Utilizing the cellular system of Bell Mobility, the Boomerang is capable of functioning indoors, underground and inside metal freight containers and in many other previously inaccessible conditions. The Boomerang has been endorsed by major insurance companies and law enforcement organizations as an effective system for locating stolen articles within a short period of time. It has been responsible for the recovery of over $6 million of stolen assets in the last eighteen months. Rankin's customers include some of Canada's major corporations.
