Cervin Capital Corporation - Announcement

6/8/99
MONTREAL, June 8 /CNW/ - Cervin Capital Corporation (ASE: CCK.A), a
Junior Capital Pool company trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange, announces
that Les Recherches R.A.N.K.I.N. Research Corporation (``Rankin''), which will
shortly become Cervin's wholly-owned subsidiary in a transaction conditionally
approved by the Alberta Stock Exchange, entered into an agreement with BC TEL
Mobility, a leader in wireless communications in British Columbia. BC TEL
Mobility offers the full spectrum of wireless communications in the province
of British Columbia, from digital PCS and wireless data to cellular and
satellite services. This agreement is similar to the one entered into with
Bell Mobility in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Consequently, this
agreement is material in the sense that it will allow Rankin to have access to
a brand new market, namely the province of British Columbia. Rankin, in
conjunction with BC TEL Mobility has scheduled June 23, 1999 as the official
launch date. Rankin will then immediately begin to fill existing orders for
the Boomerangs from all of it's British Columbia retailers.
Rankin markets a patented product, trademarked in Canada as a vehicle
security system called ``Boomerang'', a cellular-based tracking system capable
of locating stolen automobiles and other articles. The Boomerang functions
indoors, underground, inside metal freight containers and in many other
previously inaccessible conditions. Rankin's clients include some of Canada's
major corporations and law enforcement organizations.

The Alberta Stock Exchange neither approves nor disapproves of the
information contained herein.
