Boomerang Tracking Inc. (TSX: BMG) was instrumental in the recent dismantling of a large auto theft operation near the Muncey Indian Reserve in Ontario. The operation netted close to $500,000 in stolen goods, including parts from approximately 26 “chopped” vehicles.
An emergency call reporting the early-morning theft of a generator from a London, Ontario area equipment firm led the Boomerang Tracking in-house tracking team to a cache of stolen goods including seven pick-up trucks, two shipping containers full of auto parts and approximately 26 chopped vehicles.
“Boomerang Tracking offers Ontario vehicle owners the most effective, cost-effcient vehicle recovery solution on the market,” stated Serge Laporte, Boomerang Tracking’s Vice President of Sales and Business Development. “The continuing increase in auto theft across Ontario represents a call to action for concerned residents to protect their investments. With the Boomerang Tracking System, vehicle owners can enjoy the security and peace of mind of knowing that that our in-house tracking team is standing by to protect their vehicle every second of the day,” concluded Mr. Laporte
The Boomerang Tracking System utilizes leading-edge wireless technology to locate automobiles and heavy equipment anytime, anywhere in North America. To date, the system has led to the recovery of over 2,300 vehicles and heavy equipment valued at over $119 million including incidentals.
