The 2004 Profit 100, the definitive ranking of Canada''s best and brightest growth firms, has selected Boomerang Tracking as one of the country’s top 100 fastest growing companies for 2004.
With over 3,400% growth over the past 5 years, Boomerang Tracking is one of the fastest growing companies in Canada with good reason. The past five years have seen Boomerang Tracking’s subscriber base increase from 5,000 to over 150,000 and its workforce more than double. Boomerang Tracking ranked 16th on this year’s ranking, a testament to its competitiveness and continued growth potential.
The Company was also recognized as one of the top 20 Champions of Growth in Quebec by l’Actualite, Quebec''s premiere business magazine, in recognition once again for its growth over the course of the past few years. Deloitte and Touche’s Canadian Fast 50 and North American Fast 500 programs have also listed the Company among Canada’s fastest growing companies in 2002 and 2003.
“We are very proud to be counted among Canada’s most profitable firms. Our continued ability to grow profitably while successfully demonstrating the value of our tracking solution to insurers, law enforcers and consumers alike has excelled us to the forefront of the vehicle recovery market”, commented Peter Lashchuk, Boomerang Tracking’s President and CEO.
To date, the Boomerang and Boomerang2™ devices have recovered over 3,300 stolen vehicles and other assets valued at over $165 million including incidental recoveries.
