MONTREAL, May 4 /CNW/ - Cervin Capital Corporation, a Junior Capital Pool
company trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange, today announced that its
wholly-owned subsidiary Les Recherches R.A.N.K.I.N. Research Corporation
(``Rankin'') has entered into an agreement with Lombard Canada Ltd. (a major
Quebec Insurance company) for the purchase of a minimum of 1500 Boomerangs
over the next 12 months. This agreement is expected to generate revenues of
approximately $630,000 over the next 12 months.
Rankin markets a patented product, trademarked in Canada as a vehicle
security system called ``Boomerang'', a cellular-based tracking system capable
of locating stolen automobiles and other articles. The Boomerang functions
indoors, underground, inside metal freight containers and in many other
previously inaccessible conditions. Rankin's clients include some of Canada's
major corporations and law enforcement organizations.
