Monreal, Quebec, January 23, 2001 - Mr. Peter Lashchuk, President of Boomerang Tracking Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. André Tremblay to the Company’s Board of Directors.

For over five years, Mr. Tremblay has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Microcell Telecommunications Inc., a major Canadian wireless communications company, which markets Personal Communications Services (PCS) under the Fido® brand name.

“His expertise at the international level, as well as the role he has played in Microcell’s rapid growth, will undoubtedly be put to good use by the Board of Directors of Boomerang Tracking Inc.”, said Peter Lashchuk, President of the Company.

Mr. Tremblay spent a major part of his career in the telecommunications industry. He has been an advisor to the President and Chief Executive Officer of Telesystems Ltd. for the past 15 years and has played an active role in the decision–making regarding the Company’s growth since early 1990. Mr. Tremblay sits on the Board of Directors and is the Executive Vice-President of Telesystem Ltd.

Mr. Tremblay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration, an Accounting degree from Université Laval as well as a Master’s degree in Taxation from Université de Sherbrooke. He has also successfully completed the Advanced Management Program offered at the Harvard Business School.
