Boomerang Tracking Inc. of Montreal sells a cellular-based system that pinpoints and finds stolen vehicles. When a car or truck is reported stolen, the tracking station activates a transmitter embedded inthe vehicle, wherever it may be. Legal authorities in that jurisdiction then home in on the signal, quickly recovering the property and - they hope - the thief.
