Mr. Peter Lashchuk, president of Boomerang Tracking Inc. (TSE:BMG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Farha to the position of Vice President, Marketing and Communications and Serge Laporte to Vice President, Sales and International Business Development.
Previous to this appointment, Ms. Farha worked for Boomerang under the title of Director, Marketing, Communications and Investor Relations while Mr. Laporte worked as Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
“With the recent launch of Boomerang2 combined with the number of upcoming developments for Boomerang Tracking, marketing initiatives will take on an increasingly important role in the coming years, along with international expansion. Boomerang’s U.S. launch will also demand a huge effort from both the sales and marketing teams, and I am confident that Ms. Farha and Mr. Laporte are the perfect people to head these initiatives,” affirmed Mr. Lashchuk.
In Canada, Boomerang Tracking Systems have already led to the recovery of over 1,420 vehicles and other valuable assets, valued at approximately $70 million. Using the wireless infrastructures of national cellular carriers, Boomerang is able to locate and recover stolen assets across North America.
