Mr. Peter Lashchuk, president of Boomerang Tracking Inc. (TSX:BMG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvain Dunn to the position of Vice President, Finance and Operations.

Previous to this appointment, Mr. Dunn worked for Boomerang Tracking as Director, Finance and Operations and has been employed by the Company since January 2001. Prior to his tenure with the Company, Mr. Dunn was Director, Strategic Projects and Information Technology and Director, Finance and Information Technology for an international distributor of office supplies.

“It is with great confidence that I name Sylvain to his new position. I have every faith that his experience in operations reengineering, finance and strategic planning will serve him well in his new role”, commented Mr. Lashchuk.

In his new position, Mr. Dunn will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the Company, which involves a list of functions from Corporate Planning and Budgeting to Financial Reporting, Financial Controls and Financial Systems as well as overseeing the smooth running of daily operations. He will also contribute to the financial communications of the Company.

In Canada, Boomerang Tracking Systems have already led to the recovery of over 1,850 vehicles and other valuable assets, valued at approximately $96 million including incidental recoveries. Using the wireless infrastructures of national cellular carriers, Boomerang is able to locate and recover stolen assets across North America.
