R.A.N.K.I.N. Technologies Inc. (Formerly Cervin Capital Corporation) : Announcement MONTREAL, QUEBEC--Rankin Technologies Inc. (formerly Cervin Capital Corporation) today announced that, it has completed its Major Transaction and acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of R.A.N.K.I.N. Research Corporation. The Company has received the approval of the Alberta Stock Exchange to begin trading on Thursday, July 22, 1999 under the name Rankin Technologies Inc. The new ticker symbol for the Company is BMG.A, reflecting the identification with the Company's product, the "Boomerang". "We look forward to our future as a public company and to enhancing shareholder value through increased penetration of our Boomerang Tracking System in major North America markets." said Mr. Peter Lashchuk, President. The Company also announced the resignation of Mr. Paul-Andre Savoie as the President of its operating subsidiary, R.A.N.K.I.N. Research Corporation. Mr. Savoie will be pursuing other interests. Rankin Technologies Inc. markets and distributes the "Boomerang", a proprietary product utilizing technology patented by the Company. The Boomerang is the central device in a cellular-based asset tracking system capable of locating stolen automobiles, heavy equipment and valuable objects. Utilizing the cellular systems of major regional telecommunications companies, the Boomerang is capable of functioning indoors, underground, inside metal freight containers and in many other previously inaccessible locations. tracking devices, proprietary products using technology
patented by the Company. The Boomerang, Boomerang2
and GSM-based units are the central devices in
a system that uses the wireless networks of major
regional telecommunications companies for tracking
stolen assets. The Boomerang Tracking System is
capable of locating stolen automobiles, heavy
equipment and valuable assets. As a result of
its success, the Company has received the endorsement
of members of the insurance industry. The Boomerang
devices are available and installed through a
network of authorized dealers in Quebec and Ontario.

centre and manufacturing facilities are located
in Montreal, Quebec, with regional facilities
located in Mississauga, Ontario and Orange County,
